Each Celeste Diamond® is cut in an antique-inspired style, echoing the hand cut diamonds of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Available in Old European Cut, Antique Cushion Cut and Emerald Cut, these stones are chosen for their softer shapes, higher crowns and distinctive light play. What sets our Celeste Diamonds® apart is their cut. Rather than standard modern cuts such as brilliant or oval, our diamonds are crafted in antique-inspired styles, including Old European Cut, Antique Cushion Cut and Emerald Cut.

Each Celeste Diamond® is created using renewable solar energy, offering a more considered approach to production compared to lab diamonds made using fossil fuels.

Yes! Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds.

Natural and lab grown diamonds have exactly the same properties including chemical composition, crystalline structure, hardness, density and refractive index. The lab grown production process mimics the conditions under which diamonds are formed, using the same element - pure carbon - so you get a diamond just as real, with far less impact on the planet.

Lab diamonds can also have inclusions and are still colour and clarity graded in the same way as natural diamonds. Without specialist equipment, it is impossible to distinguish a natural diamond from a lab grown diamond by sight alone.

Each Celeste Diamond® over 1 carat comes with an IGI Certificate or equivalent and is laser inscribed with its unique report number to the girdle.

As natural and lab diamonds have exactly the same optical and chemical properties, it's not possible to tell them apart with the human eye alone! Advanced testing technology is the only way to differentiate. One method is through florescent X-ray which shows the diamonds growth pattern, distinguishing if the stone grew over millions of years (natural) or was grown over a few days or weeks (lab).
