MIZPAH Jewellery

From the Hebrew for 'watchtower' the word Mizpah was often adorned on jewellery throughout the Victorian period and given as a gesture of love, symbolising the bond between two people. 

This beautiful Mizpah pendant has been made by converting a Victorian 9ct Gold brooch, it reads: 'The lord watch between me & thee when are absent one from another'.
