A London Skyline Proposal

We are very excited to share the story of this wonderful couples engagement! Ellie and Emilio got engaged in London at their favourite restaurant, overlooking the city skyline from the 40th floor. 

Emilio approached us a while back to enquire about having a bespoke ring made, he knew that Ellie loved light lemon colour Diamonds from the not so subtle hints sent to him from our Instagram page! So this is where the journey began, finding a Diamond that was yellow but not too yellow, a subtle lemony shade.

We sourced 3 Brilliant Cut Diamonds for Emilio to view, after much deliberation the chosen stone was a 0.51 Carat VS Clarity with a lovely light yellow hue. 

The design of the ring was the next stage, Emilio knew Ellie loved cluster and halo styles and so together we designed a ring featuring a halo of contrasting white Diamonds grain set to the outside of the centre Diamond along with Diamond shoulders. A pretty vintage style pierced basket was the final feature to incorporate Ellie's love of vintage details. CAD images helped to visualise the final design and after a few tweaks, work was started to begin making the ring.

After collecting the ring and a few months of waiting, Emilio got down on one knee after a romantic meal in London. We wish them both huge congratulations!
