This pretty vintage wedding ring features a typically Art Deco geometric decagon design with a double orange blossom pattern engraved into each of the 10 panels. The orange blossoms are crisply carved and still have lots of fine detail. Orange blossoms were often depicted in jewellery in the early 1900s and symbolised everlasting love due to the orange tree being evergreen, and for fertility as the tree both flowers and bears fruit.
Made in Platinum and stamped to the band along with the makers mark J.M. The ring has a flat, squared profile.
The band is 2mm wide and weighs 2 grams. The pattern is very crisp with very little wear.
